We helped a rapper develop their album concept and find true love.
This project was something totally different. The briefing? Help a rapper switch things up and step into a more romantic vibe. Yeah, we all know rappers are usually all about being tough. But they also gotta vibe with a younger crowd. So, we thought, why not use a meme (yep, a meme) to shape the concept for his new album?
For me, it was super cool to work on this. I’ve been a fan of Luccas Carlos for a while, and honestly, music has been a part of my life forever.
My role:

Before dropping the music video, we made a teaser where Luccas Carlos acted like he was on a dating reality show.

The song “Famosa” talks about people who connect with Luccas Carlos just for the hype and visibility.
In the music video, we created a vintage dating show vibe with quirky characters. It’s almost like a short film. The rapper is looking for romance but still struggles to fully trust.
Fun fact: at the 4:20 mark, we used the chopped and screwed technique to create a super slow version of the song.
